Behind The Project
WorldMusicSamples was created by Kaöb, a music producer, DJ, traveler, and sound enthusiast who has spent more than 15 years exploring cultures, traditional music, and rare sound sources across the world.
Having lived in France, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, and Asia, and traveled through more than 58 countries, his passion for cultural discovery has shaped both his musical career and his approach to sound collection.
As a producer and DJ, Kaöb has performed internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, while continuously building a vast library of voices, instruments, field recordings, and soundscapes that would eventually become WorldMusicSamples.
Today, this ongoing journey continues through the development of new collections and the upcoming Sonic Atlas series and Primal Earth – Wildlife & Soundscapes.
